Berlin

After Christmas Gel and Mike flew to Berlin for a few days. We visted the Story of Berlin museum, as well as Checkpoint Charlie, which was a Wall crossing between East and West Berlin during the cold war. The museum at the Checkpoint had lots of examples of extremes people went to while trying to cross over to the West before the Wall fell.

It also snowed in Berlin one of the days we were there, which was very exciting. Like the lions in Munich, there were a few of these bears dotted around Berlin. The bear is the symbol of Berlin from centuries ago.

Hi Gel and Mike

It looks like you have had lots of fun in the cold. I love the pose with the bears best.

Jessica got very excited when I showed her the pictures of the antlers. Very funny.

We've had a great holiday away (no two nights in a row in the same room) but Jessica is very over travelling and loves being home.

Jo Garty can't understand how you have stayed away so long. She thinks that Jessica is so cute and you should visit her! Ya for Jo. Hee hee.

Love you lots, keep up the photos.
